Chen-Ee is a partner based in Singapore. She is primarily focused on investments in healthcare technology, medical technology and care delivery.
Chen-Ee has held various positions in SingHealth and the National University Health System (two key academic medical centres in Singapore), as well as the Singapore Ministry of Health-spanning innovation, transformation, operations and policy.
Prior to joining Polaris, she was Group Director (Innovation and Transformation) at SingHealth, and concurrently Co-Chair of the Academic Medicine Innovation Institute at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre.
Chen-Ee has also held appointments at the Singapore Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and has served as an advisor to the World Health Organisation, as a member of the Technical Advisory group on Public Health Innovation Ecosystems.
Chen-Ee graduated with Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) and Master of Arts degrees, both from Princeton University, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. She is a recipient of the President’s Scholarship and the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship for her undergraduate and postgraduate studies respectively. She co-chairs the Princeton University Alumni Schools Committee for Singapore.
